IMBE Vocoder

Improved Multi-Band Excitation (IMBE™) is a digital ASTRO / ASTRO 25 vocoder (voice encoder) that allows for enhanced speech processing, as well as compatibility with Phase 1 of the Project 25 (P25 or APCO-25) Common Air Interface ("APCO" is the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials).
